David was formerly a cast member at Disney World in Orlando and came to Sarasota in 1998.  He’s been a Workers Compensation Catastrophic Claims Director for the Zenith Insurance Company since 1997.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 25 years, Cheryl; daughters, Libby Grace Korwin and Emmy Grace Korwin; sons, Jason Tanner Korwin and Justin David Korwin; mother Christine Korwin, sister, Vicki Haist and her husband Rick; brother, Ricky Korwin; nephews, Michael, Jeremy, Aaron and James; niece, Olivia; in-laws, Phyllis and Ron Sheets  and Edwin and Kay Niblett; and brother-in-law, Jim Niblett.

David worked very hard to provide for his family and had a passion for helping others. He strived to put a smile on others' faces with his humor, kind actions, gift giving or by spending quality time with family and friends.   He loved worshipping the Lord  with his church family at Bayside, many of whom stood with him, cared for him and prayed for him over the past weeks.  David was an avid volunteer for the Riverview High School Kiltie Band of which all his children were members.  He enjoyed OrangeTheory Fitness, walking on the beach, learning about history, shopping, movies and decorating for Christmas.   He loved date nights  and spending time with his family whom he loved dearly.  He was incredibly proud of his children, what they have accomplished and the beautiful people they have become as adults.  He was well loved by his coworkers and everyone who knew him.
