Timothy William Lubbs

Timothy William Lubbs, 49, formerly of Mendota, IL passed away on November 3, 2019 in Florida where he resided.

Tim was born on December 3, 1969 in Mendota, Illinois and was the son of Dean and Susan Lubbs. He attended grade school and high school in Mendota, graduating in the class of 1988. He moved to Florida 20 years ago and today resided with his wife, Sandy, and their family in Bradenton. Tim was currently employed as the Materials Manager in the Surgery Department for Doctors Hospital in Sarasota.

Tim enjoyed all sports, especially watching his son’s football games at Parrish Community High school where he also served as the announcer for football games. He also was a longtime, respected umpire for baseball and softball in the Florida area. Most importantly, Tim loved his family as he always held them first in his life. He was an amazing father, husband, and all around great man. He was giving and loving, always trying to make a difference for those he so dearly cared for, including family and friends. Tim and Sandy attended nearby Bayside Community Church. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

Surviving and left to cherish his memory include his wife Sandy and children Alex Lubbs, Codey (Casey) Butler, Kayla Butler and Taylor Butler. Tim is also survived by his parents Dean and Susan Lubbs and sister Michele (Jim) Meyer; Mother & Father-In-laws, Lynn and Gloria Jarvis; Grandchildren, Weston and Macy Butler; Nephew, Brett (Cassandra) Meyer and niece Dr. Bria Meyer.

The family will be having two celebrations of life in Florida and Mendota. Arrangements for the family are being handled by the Maloney Funeral Home in Sarasota.  Celebration for Life 

Thursday November 14th from 4:00PM to 7:30PM.
