Michael Patrick Potter I, 58, passed away May 21, 2022. He was born May 5, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio to Nancy and the late Edward “Skip” Potter. Michael came to Sarasota 26 years ago from Columbus and managed an auto body shop. He enjoyed fixing cars, his Camaros, video games, creating art and music. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Peggy; son, Michael Potter II and his fiancé Katelynn; daughter, Faith Hollingsworth (Jason); brother, Eddie Potter and his wife Sharon; sisters, Donna Fowler and Patti Falvey; grandchildren, Asher, Penn and Dartanion; and his dear dog Cinder.
