Walter Duwayne Hohl, 68, passed away June 22, 2020. He was born June 10, 1952 in St. Paul, Minnesota to the late Walter Elwood and Verlaine Joyce (Larson) Hohl. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Lee. Walter came to Sarasota in 1991 from Alexandria, Minnesota where he was a scanning coordinator for a grocery store. He was a 33rd Degree Mason and very involved with the Shriners. For fun Walter enjoyed golf. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Nancy Baughman of Findlay, Ohio; Lois Hohl of Sarasota; Tom Hohl of Sarasota; David Hohl and his wife Nell of Atlanta, Georgia; Mary Cogley and her husband Keith of Big Lake, Minnesota; and Paul Hohl of Sarasota. Memorial contributions may be made in Walter’s honor to the Shriners Hospital for Children Headquarters 2900 N.
